prunus cerasifera, commonly known as the cherry plum, is a hardy deciduous tree or large shrub renowned for its ornamental value and edible fruit. it typically grows 15-30 feet tall with a rounded crown and produces fragrant white or pink flowers in early spring. the fruit is the size of a small plum and sweet in flavor.

for successful growth, plant in well-drained soil with full sun exposure, although it can tolerate partial shade. adaptable to various soil types and is resistant to drought once established.

native to asia & eastern europe.

hardiness zone - 5-8

currently 8-12” tall

*does not necessarily need another for pollination but having another or another plum species will increase yield & abundance.

** all trees will be sold as bare root saplings in march/april AND oct/nov by pre-order only.
