elephant garlic

$15.00
Sold Out

elephant garlic (allium ampeloprasum var. ampeloprasum), while actually more closer related to leeks, grows much bigger than regular garlic. considered milder in flavor, elephant garlic grows tall, upright stalks that form tall flowering stalks. it is grown in the same way as garlic, it just becomes much bigger!

it forms smaller cloves on the outside of the main large bulb called 'pups', and these are the seeds used for planting.

contains: 10 seeds

USDA hardiness zones: 3-9
